Taking a stroll around Jozankei

There are many places of interest that highlight natural richness, including mountain streams that run into the Toyohira River, as well as their source, Hoheikyo; also mountains surrounded by unspoiled nature, walking trails commanding views of the gorge and Jozan Gensen Park with a footbath and hot spring falls.

Jozan Gensen Park

This park opened in the summer of 2005 to commemorate the 200th birthday of the monk Miizumi Jozan. A rich Jozankei forest fills the park that includes a footbath, a knee-deep bath and a bath where eggs can be boiled, as well as hot spring falls and a trail among wild plants. It is a three-minute walk from the hotel. Why not take a walk in a cotton kimono?
There are also hand baths and footbaths near the hotel. Try them.

Hours: 7:00 - 21:00
